The Auction will be held on Thursday 22 May 2014 and we’ve got an amazing and never-to-be-repeated line-up of chefs and Street Feast favourites on board, serving up their own take on street food including: crab doughnuts, veal tuna, Jamón, Marmite Royal, lamb Raan Bun, krupuk-crusted soft shell crab with Singapore-style sauce and Korean pulled pork with fresh apple kimchi.
If you manage to grab a ticket from the limited number on sale, then you’ll get to enjoy sensational food by:
Tickets cost £55 and go on sale at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 02 April 2014) here. The ticket price includes all your booze and food for the evening – a Taittinger champagne bar, frozen Jose Cuervo Margaritas, festival-sized pints of cocktails from Rotary Bar, delicious dishes from the food stalls and live entertainment.
On top of all that, you’ll also be able to take part in a restaurant tombola and a live charity auction, with some incredible money-can’t-buy prizes.
Some of our favourites this year include: reviewing a restaurant with Evening Standard critic Fay Maschler, having dinner cooked for you by The River Café’s head chef and The Fat Duck Experience – seeing the The Fat Duck kitchen in action, before sitting down to enjoy the full tasting menu with paired wines. Er, SOLD.
Last year, Auction Against Hunger raised over £100,000 for malnourished children and with this year’s line-up, we should raise even more.
