Four New Bars Open in East London

Street_Vin_blog.jpg

There are four new bars opening in East London tonight. They'll all be open until 2am. And they're all in #HawkerHouse.

Rotary Bar - The bar team that brought mahoosive mojitos to #MerchantYard, #DalstonYard, Latitude festival, #TruckStop and Old Street are back for the launch of Hawker House. Expect Rotary's signature giant cocktails, short and strong Negronis and Martinis, icy-cold craft beers and decent wine. Awesome.

Hot Bar - No one can resist the aroma of a decent mulled wine or hot toddy. Hot drinks are great for taking the chill off a cold evening (so are our indoor heaters) and keeping colds at bay. When made properly they're hard to beat. The Hot Bar will be serving hot buttered rum, hot spiced apple rum, hot toddys (Scotch, Chambord, lemon and ginger) and fantastic hot chocolate from Kokoa Collection (with or without your choice of booze). Delicious.

Whisky Bar - The Gin Store will be missed over the winter months but now's the time for brown booze to shine - specifically whisky. The Whisky Bar is stocked with 50 whiskies from the States, Scotland, Ireland and Japan. There are some real gems available in 25ml and 50ml measures ranging from £4-40 a shot. We think everyone with a palette for whisky should have a chance to taste some of the best examples out there. Hand over £7 for a single (£12 for a double) and have a go on our Random Whisky Generator - you could find yourself sipping on something incredible. For those who prefer their whiskies shaken or stirred, the Gin Store's Jimmy Grant will be at hand. Make ours an Old Fashioned.

Street Vin - After a fantastic run at #DalstonYardWine Car Boot founder Ruth Spivey returns with a selection of great wines at good prices. Expect delicious reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines from interesting producers from all over the world. Great street food deserves great wine

That should keep you going right up till 2am.
