Ginstock 15 June

Get ready for Ginstock 2013 on #WorldGinDay

This year #Ginstock is at the Merchant Yard on Kingsland Road, the current home of Street Feast

We've got a world-class line-up of some of London's best bars and bartenders, mixing brilliant drinks with their favourite gin brands and, if you’re coming, you can help decide the best. There will be live music and street food all day from midday until midnight with the main event between noon and 6pm.

Last year’s Ginstock was a 1,000 sunny sell-out but we’ve reduced the numbers to 700 this year and we’re in a much bigger space so it should be a little calmer. The ticket price of £36 gets you your voting card and not eight but 10 great cocktails. Ten ticket holders will also win a case of the competing gins in our free Ginstock draw. Get your tickets here: http://ginstock.eventbrite.co.uk/

The gates open at noon with cocktail tasting, eating, meeting and tweeting until 5pm. The winner will be announced, the £2,000 cash prize awarded and the Juniper Cup presented at 6pm. After that, the Ginstock Lock-In goes on until midnight.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to eat some of our favourite street food with some Ginstock recipe specials from Yum Bun (pork and pollock steamed buns), Breddo’s (slow-cooked short rib tacos), Vanduke (coconut prawns and jasmine tea-smoked ribs), Dogtown (juniper-smoked free-range hot dogs), barbecue chicken from Rotary Smoke as well as popcorn shrimp and Ribstock-winning ribs from Redhook.

It will be brilliant.

PS. If you’re not doing the tasting, you don’t need a ticket to come along for the day to dip into the delicious street food from some of London’s best traders whilst enjoying the Merchant Yard atmosphere. The Yard Bar will be open all day and you can get stuck in to the #GinStore until late.
