This Saturday 10 of the UK’s best rib chefs and restaurants will fight for the title of ‘Great British Rib Champion 2013’. Only one team can win the £3,000 cash prize and lift the Frontier Cup. Get excited. Here’s this year’s line-up:
Ticket holders will get to taste all 10 rib dishes on the day and enjoy two pints of Frontier beer and a festival-sized cocktail from the guys at Rotary. As with previous Tweat Ups the tasting session will be between noon and 6pm and the winner of Ribstock 2013 will be announced at 7pm. Every vote counts (last year Redhook won by just three votes) so make sure you get your voting card in on time.
We’re also bringing back our hot sauce competition. 2012 winner Tom Parker Bowles has quit while he’s ahead and so it’s anyone’s guess who’ll take the number one spot this year. We’ve got entries from:
